Before the trip

Right now, it is one in the morning, finals weeks. This is my way of not studying and procrastinating.

For this trip, I think that the culture shock is going to be the biggest thing for me. I don't know much, but from what I've heard, it is very different over there. I've taken the time to write a letter to my family with a picture included of me included in it, so that my family will know what I look like, but they don't have an email address listed, so I think I might be entering a household with not a lot of technology. I think that Spain will be awesome, and that I will learn the language fairly easily. I'm most excited about going just going over there, as I've never been to Europe before, but at the same time, my brother had all of his stuff stolen in the Madrid airport just last week, so my biggest fear at the moment is that all of my stuff will be stolen and I'll be screwed in a foreign country with very little in terms of support.
